Article 1 — Name and seat

The association is named Lebanese Community Nederland and is seated in Amsterdam. It has been established for an indefinite period.

Article 2 — Purpose

The association aims to connect and support the Lebanese community in the Netherlands, promote cultural exchange and represent common interests — without political or religious affiliation.

Article 3 — Membership

Any natural person who feels connected to Lebanon and endorses the objectives of the association can become a member. Membership is personal and starts after registration and payment of the contribution.

Article 4 — Contribution

The annual contribution is set by the general assembly. Payment is made via iDEAL. Membership is not renewed tacitly.

Article 5 — Board

The board consists of at least three members: chair, secretary and treasurer. Board members are elected for a two-year term and can be re-elected once.

Article 6 — General assembly

A general assembly is held at least once a year. Every member has one vote. Decisions are taken by a simple majority of the votes cast.

Article 7 — Code of conduct

Members treat each other with respect, both at gatherings and on the association's online channels. Discrimination, intimidation and incitement to polarisation are grounds for suspension.

Article 8 — Termination of membership

Membership ends by cancellation, death, or expulsion by the board for acting contrary to these regulations. No contribution is refunded upon termination.
